Emo Yesil

Emo is a student in the Graduate Program in Interdisciplinary Studies at York University and his current research focuses on the relations between the settled and nomadic societies of Asia under the context of food culture and food names in China/Chinese and Turkic countries-societies/languages. His research interest also includes: Food Politics, History/Geo-cultural History of Central Asia/Turkic Asia, Food Studies, Turkish Studies, Sinology and Creative Writing.
