Nausheen Quayyum

Doctoral Candidate, Graduate Programme in Politics, York University

Nausheen Quayyum is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at York University. She holds an MA in Development Studies from York University and an Honours BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto. Her Master's research focused on the indigenous movement in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Her current doctoral research investigates labour organizing in garment factories in Bangladesh. Broadly, her research interests include labour and feminist movements in the Global South, political economy of South Asia, and community and international development.
