Zhifan Luo

Zhifan Luo is a PhD candidate in sociology at the University at Albany – State University of New York. Her research interests include political sociology, computational social science, and China studies, with specializations in computer-assisted content analysis, political discourse, elites and power, and gender issues. Zhifan’s works have been published in Information, Communication & Society, Armed Forces & Society, and Journal of World-Systems Research. Her dissertation examines how different elite groups impacted the narrative of China policy in the US in the post-Cold War era. This project is funded by the National Science Foundation.
