Bill Lu is a Master’s Student in the Glendon School of Public and International Affairs at York University. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. He completed an international exchange semester abroad in Tel Aviv University, Israel, where he studied Middle-Eastern history with a focus on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Bill speaks English, French and Mandarin Chinese. His research interests include the social determinants of health, critical race theory, and racism and discrimination. Currently, he is working on a project examining the impact of anti-Asian racism in Canada in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
