Peter Duker

Peter’s research stems from over five years of living and working in Thailand and Sierra Leone on sustainable development issues. He is currently working towards an MA in human geography at York University. His research utilizes a political ecology approach to study the intersections of rural livelihoods, conservation and development. His current project will be based in Karen communities of Northern Thailand to study the creation of protected areas along a river.
