The student protests in Hong Kong and the Occupy Central movement have drawn the world’s attention to the ongoing conflict over democratization in the territory and the role of the central Chinese government authorities in Hong Kong’s political development.  This panel discussion and forum will discuss the recent protests and their impacts. They will also consider what the next phases in this still unresolved conflict may mean for Hong Kong politically, socially, and economically.
