The York Centre for Asian Research (YCAR) was established in 2002 as a home for researchers to advance the academic study of Asia (South, East, and Southeast) and Asian Diasporas.

In celebration of our twentieth anniversary in 2022, we are inviting Associates to share ideas and research activities to celebrate this milestone. The theme is “Re-imagining Asian and Asian Diaspora Studies.”
