I am a first year MA student in Political Science, with a focus on international relations and comparative politics. I obtained my honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga, majoring in Political Science and History. My research broadly focuses on great power politics, civil wars and modes of governance and government. I have a particular interest in politics and governance in Afghanistan along with issues of security and human rights in the country. = I plan to engage in research that will examine the foreign policies of the U.S., China, Russia, India and Pakistan in the South-Central Asia region and explore how they are shaping the regions political, economic and security dynamics. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, weightlifting, and spending time with family and friends.
