Jun Lu is a doctoral candidate at York University, Toronto. She holds an SSHRC doctoral fellowship and is the author of a book chapter titled “Persecutory Anxiety and the Fear of Death as Emotional Qualities of the Cultural Revolution in China.” Currently, her research focuses on how individual and collective experiences engage in working through the traumatic past by analyzing literary texts and cultural expressions in the Chinese diaspora group.
