My research focuses on the intersections of migration, labour and class in the creation of economic lives and landscapes. My recent research has examined the labour market trajectories of Filipino immigrants in Canada, intergenerational social mobility in immigrant families, and transnational economic and political linkages between Canada and the Philippines. A new project focuses on labour, migration and global production networks in the Asian fishing industry.
